Dorm Maid understands that a dorm room contains personal, private and valuable belongings. Our service procedures are designed to reduce unnecessary handling and clearly identify items being serviced or transported.

Designated Items

Customers should identify items that Dorm Maid is authorized to handle.

Dorm Maid Bags

When laundry or other approved items are removed from the room, Dorm Maid may use designated Dorm Maid service bags. Each bag may be identified with:

  • Customer name
  • Service date
  • Service number / order number
  • Applicable item category

Customer Responsibility

Customers should secure:

  • Cash
  • Jewelry
  • Passports
  • Sensitive documents
  • Medication
  • Electronics not included in the service
  • Other valuables

Dorm Maid personnel should not be required to move or handle valuables unnecessarily.

Prohibited Handling

Dorm Maid personnel should not open, inspect, read, sort through or disclose private documents or personal communications unless specifically required to perform an authorized service.

Existing Damage

The service walk-through may document existing damage or conditions.

Lost or Missing Items

Customers should report concerns promptly through the Dorm Maid customer support process.

Final liability and claims language must be reviewed by legal counsel.
